One of the great things about working at SwiftGoBig.com is the diversity of requests which come in daily. It gets even better when it evokes memories of the Nancy Sinatra’s 1966 classic “These Boots Are Made For Walking.” For those not familiar with the song so you can hear/see it here. A few weeks ago a client was preparing for a tradeshow and they needed graphics to sit atop Stetson Boots for a promotion creating interest and building loyalty. Now this is not something comes along every day so it was fun figuring it out.
Boot Graphics – After trying several materials we settled on printing both sides of a nice thick 48pt paper stock, then profile cutting and adding a notch in the center so it would rest atop the boots. We love fun and creative challenges and this one certainly filled the bill.
Event Badges – We are also having great success with our new way for printing name badges. The old way is to print on a piece of paper and having it laminated for stiffness. That is okay but over time laminates typically yellow with age and sometimes separate too. What are we doing different? We actually direct print on a nice heavy plastic stock, profile cut with round corners and add the lanyard notch at the top. Pretty Cool.
Directionals & Display Boards – Contrary to what you see everywhere, easel signs do not have to always be square cut. We are asking clients to take advantage of our digital cutting workflow. Most everything we trim is computer cut so have some fun and feel free to add a special shape to your design. What does profile cutting and trimming of display boards do for you?
