What do elevator speeches and pets have in common? It’s all in a days work at SwiftGoBig
They say every good marketing and sales person has a crisp elevator statement in their hip pocket for when the time is right. You know, that time when someone asks, “What is it you do?” How many of us can answer that fast and well? I have struggled with it mightily over the years and to this day it is still a work in progress. My best answer for now is “I am a print doctor. I help turn ideas into actions by printing on almost anything imaginable. It ranges from brochures on paper to murals on walls and nearly everything in between. It is crazy fun. How about you?”
I thought it might be helpful to share a few interesting projects from this week in the hope you might know others who could benefit similarly. Months ago a client asked for ideas with their campaign for reaching out to students. After working through many options and test prints we finally settled on producing (2000) 11×17 posters which have a special shaped mirror cut out applied to them so people see themselves when they look at it. It is targeted to the “I love me, let me count the ways crowd” ha. In addition we are producing 500 plus 2’x2’ floor graphics so as students walk by staring down at their phones hopefully they will be intrigued by what is beneath their feet to stop for a second and check us out. Lastly we are producing 1000+ 11×17 posters mounted on 3/16 white gator board, rounded corners and Velcro on the backs so our second message can be posted in just the right spots while withstanding the rigors of traffic and transportation.
Separately we are also working with a client who is embarking on a stationary package and when they could not find a color they liked in a Pantone book, we took the next logical step and offered to make a custom color just for them. Working with our team and a trusted ink supplier we have new formulations in the works. This was a new one for me so it should be interesting to see how it plays out.
Lastly, we have a pet friendly office. As a result we have a lot of fury friends walking around. From time to time there is the occasional accident which despite our best efforts to clean the carpet sometimes leaves a spot or two. Well, not so much anymore because we have new carpet graphics on the way representing emblems on our local sports teams which will take over and covers everything below. Pretty creative.
