Few things are more heartbreaking than walking through an animal shelter and seeing loving eyes looking back at you. When the design team for Best Buddy approached us asking for assistance with their latest development we jumped at the chance. Enhancing visual experiences is something we study and work on daily so after careful review we settled upon a plan that was a little different from the norm.
Oftentimes we print and install wall murals specially designed for each and every area within a specific space but doing so requires additional cost for the unique qualities to do that. With budget being a central factor it was decided to go with a wall covering approach instead. This approach enabled the designer to create a repeating pattern that could be used throughout the building without the need for special art creation and sizing for every area of need.
By combining a single custom wall covering pattern to serve as the common background theme it provided flexibility in covering more surface area than would have been possible otherwise. In some areas dimensional letters were used as part of the messaging over the wall covering and in others the lettering was a part of it.This contrast adds to the visual appeal and at the same time stretches the budget further. It is interesting that St. Louis quietly has become a mecca for some of the nation’s biggest providers of pet related products and services and we are excited to be a part of it.
