There is a bit of legend growing around SwiftGoBig land that late Fridays are not made for Michelob but instead made for blood pressure testers. Friday January 29 was no different when an email showed up asking if we could print and install a large wall graphic plus door and perforated window graphics too by the following Friday February 5 at one of St. Louis’s newest and upcoming restaurant brands, Revel Kitchen.
For those not familiar with Revel Kitchen they have an interesting manta.. “Here at Revel Kitchen, we know real food leads to real victories. Just ask Owner Simon Lusky – he’s been cooking for the St. Louis Cardinals since 2010, with professional recipes that inspire their menus today. From restaurants to meal plans and food trucks, they are committed to providing the best food, planned and prepared the right way, to fuel the small steps that lead to the big wins. Pretty cool!
For the rest of the story …. Art started coming in Monday with site visits, material testing and file prep all happening at mock speed. Proofs were made, revisions too and then final printing and inspection before final delivery to location for installation. We printed the wall mural on our special PhotoTex material because of its resistance to stretching over long distances and its ease for installation. We printed the window graphic on our perforated window film via our flat bed UV printer to prevent fading and also providing rich color reproduction. The door graphics were cut vinyl applied directly to the doors (photos to the right).
Nothing happens in a vacuum and this is certainly no exception. It was with a great team effort between the Revel Kitchen leadership group, SwiftGoBig’s art prep and printing crew, Atomic Dust’s eye for design, the Designery’s attention to detail during inspections and installation that it all came together with a wonderful outcome in near record time. If you have a special office remodel project you would like to discuss, give us a call and let’s review together.
