As many of you know I have a special passion for large format graphics, portable displays and print related services in general. I oftentimes spend days, nights and weekends reading, studying and scouting for new materials, processes and services to help better serve clients. To my family’s chagrin they almost refuse to take me with them when shopping because I am always picking at the graphics on the windows, floors and counters to see if someone else has a better way.
Two years ago I was introduced to Bryan Swift the owner of Swift Print Communications after he visited a trade show and “caught the bug” of large format graphics. For those of you who are not familiar with Swift, they have been a St. Louis institution for 104 years and continue to grow and invest. To Bryan’s chagrin he is often asked, “why have I not heard of you guys?” That is where I come in. While Bryan may be a low key guy, he sees the many possibilities for an exciting new way to share with clients how large format graphics can help convey their messages in unique and impactful ways beyond just ink on paper. Bryan invested in state of the art new large format equipment, continues to do so and has a gifted staff dedicated to innovation and a long term vision for growing the business to help serve client’s needs.
On April 12th I was asked by Bryan to become the VP of Display & Graphics at his company. It is an honor to receive such an offer and a privilege to which I have accepted. Swift Print Communications is a wonderful growth story in St Louis growing from a traditional printer specializing in insurance related print services to commercial printing, digital printing with personalization into large format print services such as banners, display boards, stand ups, retractable displays, floor graphics, window graphics, wall graphics along with automated profile trimming for unique shapes on every print.
