Learn how SwifGoBig helped transform the Hyatt Regency St Louis into an event destination using wall graphics, elevator graphics, display graphics and more.
Have you ever been in a meeting with a client and at the end you think to yourself, “How are we going to do this?” Actually that seems to be happening more and more lately and for that I actually give thanks. You might ask how you can like that. Don’t you want to have all the answers? Well, yes and no. Keep in mind that if the task were easy then anyone could do it. When it is difficult and you are entrusted to find solutions it means you are working at a higher level and with that comes greater outcomes and rewards. As a testament to taking on challenges outside one’s comfort zone I thought you might like to see the various 3 day event graphics we produced for a client that took place at the Hyatt Regency St Louis.
During our initial meeting the client described creating self standing sculptures along with sculptures to hang from the ceiling in the hallways and auditorium. I think I must have turned 3 shades of pale during that part of the meeting. After explaining I would love to help but had no idea how to do this we talked and started making models out of paper and quickly had a plan. As the meeting progressed we devised plans for:
- 8’ x 8’ fabric graphics to go into existing display stands
- 10’ x 7’ fabric graphic to greet hand down an escalator path
- 4’ x 8’ triangle sculpture
- 4’ x 8’ rectangle sculpture
- Various pull up displays
- Removable Wall Graphics placed strategically over existing picture frames
- Podium Graphics
- Elevator Graphics that open and close to form a mural
- Table Tents to enhance the sit down experience at each table
There was a large blank wall at a high traffic area. Not only was there a goal of putting up a 12’ x 10’ wall graphic to grab attention it was also requested to have a large 2/Sided sculpture actually coming off the corner of the wall so it catches your eye from anywhere on the plaza. With the magic of our PhotoTex wall graphics, 1/2” Gator Board, 3M Command Strips and talented installers – mission accomplished.
